2K Games has just announced that a second DLC pack called Alien Hunters will be coming to "XCOM 2." The upcoming content will have new alien enemies to fight, new weapons, and new outfits to try out.

The second DLC pack will be coming to the strategy game, and will also add new gameplay content for the campaign, according to the game's official website. The DLC pack will have a narrative-driven mission, a new Hunter's Lodge update to the Avenger's Armory, new weapons and armor, and new alien enemies to fight, which are called the Rulers.

The new aliens are unique classes that will randomly show up in a player's mission in the campaign. These aliens will have their own unique behavior and tactics, which makes them unpredictable. Players will have to eliminate these enemies when they appear, since they will keep appearing again and again to harass the soldiers until they are wiped out.

The Rulers are stronger alien enemy versions of the Viper, Berserker, and the Archon, and the team can use their dead bodies and turn them into powerful new sets of armor when they are defeated. The Icarus Suit is made from the corpse of an Archon Ruler, which can let soldiers fly around the map with ease. There comes a risk to wearing these unique armor types, which is losing them forever if the wearer is killed in action, and the dead soldier is not carried out.

The new DLC pack will also introduce new unique weapons for players to use. The Bolt-Caster is a high-damage, single-shot weapon, while the Hunter's Axe is a powerful melee type weapon that can also be thrown at enemies. The ShadowKeeper Pistol can conceal the soldier using it, and can kill an enemy with its guaranteed-hit, while the Frost Bomb Grenade can freeze alien enemies temporarily.

In other news, the game will have a new patch that will fix different bugs in the game, tweak the balance of the single-player campaign, and rebalance the multiplayer system, according to IGN. This patch will be released ahead of the new DLC pack, and will also optimize the game's performance.
