The baffling eclipse that has been covering "Pokémon Sun and Moon" since their announcement in February is about to clear. While there is no much information about the upcoming Pokémon titles, fans should get ready for some news on May 10.

Game developer Game Freak will get ahead of the May 15 CoroCoro issues with news of its own. According to IGN, series director Junichi Masuda has promised via twitter to unveil some information on May 10 at 5 a.m. Pacific.

Notably, May 10 is a very important day for many gamers, since it is the same day that Sony will release its PS4 biggest exclusive game, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." Nintendo's timing makes some believe that this was an intentional move to steal some of Nathan Drake's wave.

In other news, Nintendo has trademarked six names for "Pokémon Sun and Moon." Three names are for the starter Pokémon, while the remaining three are for the legendaries.

In addition to the "Solgaleo" and "Lunaala," Game Freak has included "Marshadow" as a third name, according to Bidness ETC. Marshadow is believably a third legendary, which is the only one besides the five that already suit the games' scenario. Starters in the upcoming titles are "Ashimari," "Nyabby," and "Mokuroah," while "Solgaleo" and "Lunaala" are to be names for the legendaries.

Every game in the "Pokémon" franchise has a minimum of three legendary Pokémon now. For instance, "Pokémon X and Y" had Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde, and "Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" had Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza.

With the trademarked "Marshadow," the publication believes this Pokémon will have a big impact on the other two. For example, Rayquaza, which is the third region legendary, was in charge of calming both Groudon and Kyogre from causing chaos on the land and the seas. Therefore, Marshadow will have the same effect.

According to the publication, Marshadow appears like a dark or ghost sort of Pokémon. It aligns perfectly with the theme of "Pokémon Sun and Moon." Given that the two games are themed as day and night, an eclipse-like Pokémon would make sense.

Stay tuned for updates on Marshadow come May 10. Here is a sneak peek to have a glimpse of the upcoming "Pokémon Sun and Moon."
