To begin with, Joong-ki sent a food truck to the set of "Signal" for director Kim Won Seok, who worked with him for the drama "Sungkyunkwan Scandal." Later it was discovered that the actor secretly donated to support children suffering from cancer.

Furthermore, Joong-ki seemingly took care of the young staff members working on "Descendants of the Sun," and ensured that he was a pillar of reassurance on the series. In fact, "A Werewolf Boy" director Jo Sung Hee applauded the 30-year-old actor in a recent TV report interview.

During the interview as quoted by Soompi, Hee said, "Song Joong-Ki learned all of the younger staff members' names, talked with them, and looked out for them. He's young, but he's an actor you can't help but respect."

According to affiliates, this is no merely because of Joong-Ki's natural character. They associate the personality to the strong influence of fellow actor Hyun, whose unchanging, honest behavior is evident from his 13-year romance with his wife and first love.

Hyun featured in "My Sassy Girl 2" after being forced by his loyalty to the producer, ShinCine's Shin Chul. The actor was hesitant to the idea of featuring in a "Sassy Girl" in the absence of Jeon Jin Hyun, although he wanted to support Shin Chul, who produced one of his major works.

Besides, when Hyun's 2014 film "Slow Video" was releasing, he personally sought out KBS's Seo Soo Min and requested that the film's music video be shown at the end of variety programs. His request was granted despite working alone without the producers or advertising team's knowledge.

An industry insider commented via K-Pop Sugar that the way Joong-ki treats everyone to meals is a character he learned from Hyun. The actor's good influence is having a positive impact on the young actors in his agency, Blossom Entertainment.
