The 31-year-old actress will join previously announced actors Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey. She is up to play the kind-hearted, pregnant wife of Charles Champignon named Arra, The Tracking Board reported.

Arra possesses psychic capacities and is one of Manni plunges. On her way home to Tauton, she and her husband were ambushed by Farson's men at Gallows Hill and ends up getting raped and murdered.

Charles was made to watch the act, as she had her baby cut from her womb, inciting her to ask why her husband had not protected them. It is said that Kim's character is from the Marvel Comics spin-off of "The Dark Tower" series.

The film adaptation tells the tale of the Mid-World fallen land through the eyes of the last gunslinger named Roland Deschain (Elba), The Comic Book has learned. In a bid to save his decaying world, Deschain embarks on a quest to find the powerful but elusive magical edifice known as The Dark Tower.

Along the way, he encounters a mysterious lowlife known as The Man in Black (McConaughey), an imperishable deceiver and dark sorcerer who also seeks to reach the tower, which is the nexus point of the time-space continuum situated in the fey region of End-World, to rule over its boundless kingdom. Newcomer Tom Taylor have also been cast to play John "Jake" Chambers, a 12-year-old boy who would serve as the protégé of Deschain.

The other star-studded characters include Jackie Earle Haley as Sayre, Fran Kranz as Pimli, Abbey Lee Kershaw as Tirana, Michael Barbieri as Timmy and Katheryn Winnick. Award-winning writer Akiva Goldsman, Anders Thomas Jensen, Nikolaj Arcel and Jeff Pinkner wrote the screenplay, and Goldsman, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Erica Huggines will produce the Columbia Pictures' release in theaters across the United States on Feb. 17, 2017.
