It was first speculated that the new god Darkseid could be the villain for part one of the "Justice League" film, while previous reports hinted that the film will feature a conflict with the underwater city of Atlantis. However, Birth.Movies.Death. reporter Devin Faracci stated that possible villain for "Justice League" part 1 could Darkseid's nephew Steppenwolf.

Steppenwolf in the comics is incharge of Darkseid's army in Apokolips and in the New 52 series he and his army of Paradaemons attacked and conquered Earth 2 and killed that world's version of Wonder Woman in battle. Steppenwolf was first hinted in the deleted scene of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" titled the "Communion" in which Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) is communicating with with a monstrous being from the Kryptonian archives room, were Doomsday is created before he is arrested by the United States military.

Luthor told Batman that a great and powerful force will be coming to earth soon now that Superman is dead and no one will be able to stop them. With that knowledge, Bruce Wayne with the help of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman must recruit the metahumans that were found in Luthor's file; Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller), Victor Stone/ Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa) to fight the invading threat coming to earth.

So far, Warner Bros. has not yet cast who will play Steppenwolf in "Justice League" movie, although there are speculations that "Spider-Man" star Willem Dafoe's mystery character could be him.

In other new, cast member Jason Momoa teased the possibility of seeing the "Watchtower" base in the "Justice League" movie.

The Watchtower is one of the many bases used by the Justice League with others being Mount Justice and the Hall of Justice. It is a large satellite that orbits around the earth in order to monitor both in and outside threats of the planet. The Watchtower was first hinted during one of Momoa's workout video on his Instagram account with the word "Watchtower" in its caption, Cinemablend reported.

It is theorized that Bruce Wayne/Batman will be overseeing the construction of the Watchtower after the events of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and audiences will likely see the base at the end of part 1 similar as to how Avengers tower is teased in the "Avengers" film.

Movie goers and comic book fans will likely see the Watchtower completed during "Justice League" part 2 along with a complete roster since Hal Jordon/Green Lantern (Dan Amboyer) will be joining the line up.

"Justice League" movie part 1 is scheduled on Nov. 17, 2017, while part 2 is on June 14, 2019.
