"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" and "The witcher 3: Blood and Wine" will be the last content that CD Projekt Red will ever add to the "Witcher 3" franchise. The developer is reportedly shifting its sights to the creation of "Cyberpunk 2077," another game of its own which is based on Cyberpunk series of tabletop role-playing games.

In an interview with Euro Gamer, "The Witcher 3" Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz said that "Blood and Wine" will be the final piece of post-release content for the renowned RPG. He pointed out that the developer is now intending to entirely focus on "Cyberpunk 2077."

However, CD Projekt Red is not packing up and walking away from the franchise completely. Rather, it will continue to release patches to fix bugs in both the main game and the expansions. Tomaszkiewicz disclosed that fans can expect a patch before "Blood and Wine's" release.

On being asked if PC gamers will expect CD Projekt Red to announce the RedKit modding tools, he said that he is hopeful that the developer will "do something," although he did not confirm anything. Back in August 2015, CD Projekt Red had released official modding tools for "The Witcher 3" in the form of ModKit.

This is a suite that allows gamers to modify the game in a number of ways. The last release sparked various reactions, with some "Witcher" fans saying that it was not enough. What they expected was a new version of CD Projekt Red's "REDkit" that would appear to be more fleshed-out like the one available for "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings."

Now, it not clear whether such kit will ever get released for "The Witcher 3." However, gamers are focusing their attention on the imminent release of the 30-hour "Witcher 3's" "Blood and Wine" expansion, which will arrive on May 31 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, IGN has learned.

Meanwhile, early previews are claiming that "The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine" will run better than the main game. Also, the game will have upgraded graphics which will make it look better.
