Specifications

According to Techno Buffalo, the OnePlus 3 would be released on two versions - an entry-level model and a more expensive model. Both rumored versions of the phone are expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor. They would be equipped with a 5 inches 1080 screen display and a formidable 16 megapixel main camera.

The difference of the entry level and the expensive OnePLus 3 version lies on the amount of RAM and storage. The same publication claims that the cheaper phone would possess 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the less affordable handset would have a whopping 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Design

Mere two days ago, more leaks of the OnePlus 3 were uploaded to the Chinese social media platform, Weibo. The most recent leaks, as reported by 9 to 5 Google, revealed images of the upcoming phone. Based on the unauthorized photos, the upcoming phone would be very similar to the current OnePLus flagship model. It has a 5.5 inch screen with a pill shaped metal ring for the home button at the bottom of the device. The leaked image uploaded on Weibo also showcased a black/slate colored handset with a metal body.

Pricing and Release Date

OnePlus flagship phones are known for its affordability. With the OnePlus 3, it seems like the company would not be veering away from their cheap prices. According to reports, the phone would go for as little as $310 for the entry level model. As for the release date, it is assumed that the phone would be available for purchase by next month. Given the amount of leaked information online, this assumption may not be completely baseless.
