With only Thailand and China as the confirmed tour dates, fans of the actor from various Facebook pages are clamoring to include their countries in the Asian tour.

For its part, the Song Joong Ki Philippines Facebook fan page is currently conducting an online survey if they want the “Descendants of the Sun” actor to come to the country and also hold a fan meet. The survey, posted on Friday, May 13, runs only until 12 midnight of Sunday, May 15.

The survey, which is a Google docs, asks Filipino fans of the actor if they are willing to travel outside Metro Manila – the national capital region – to attend the event. It also asks if the fans are willing to hold the fan meet on the 2nd quarter of 2016 and the amount they are willing to shell out.

The survey listed four tiers of fan meet ticket prices from P2,000-P3,000 ($43-$64) to P8,000-P10,000 ($171-$214). The suggested prices are on the lower end in comparison to the $1,200 in China for a front-row seat.

In contrast, at Madonna’s recent Philippine concert on Feb. 24, the most expensive ticket sold legally was P57,750 ($1,237), yet the tickets for the event was sold out. She held the concert at the MOA Arena which has a capacity of 20,000 seats.

Besides the Facebook survey, there also a petition on Change.org requesting Blossom Entertainment to add Manila to Song Joong-ki’s Asian tour itinerary. The petition has so far 1,579 signatories and would be sent to the South Korean talent agency once the signees reach 2,500, or 921 more sign. The petition was initiated by Jin Cuizon.

If Blossom would heed the clamor of the actor’s Filipino fans, they would not be disappointed because it is not only the “Descendants of the Sun” actor who has a strong following in the country but even KPop groups. After all 2N1’s Sandara Park began her show business career in the Philippines as a runner-up in a local talent search reality show and is known as “Pambansang Krung-krung” or “National crazy girl.”
