Fans have been speculating that "The Winds of Winter" will be released sometime this month, after George R.R. Martin's announcement that the book will be ahead from "GOT" Season 6, cites IGN. However, since the award winning author was not able to release "The Winds of Winter" before the premiere of its television adaptation, fans are still hoping that Martin would be able to produce the sixth installment this May.

Martin has not confirmed anything yet relating to the rumors that "The Winds of Winter" will be finally available in the bookshelves this month, yet fans of the book series are not shy of pushing their speculations that the author will be able to finish the book by that time.

On the other hand, according to IGN, Martin revealed that exciting twists and turns will be included in the upcoming novel. The author exposed that the characters that were killed on the show may still be alive in the book.

Since reports suggest that fans want the book to be available as soon as possible, its author is now making his schedule exclusive by prioritizing the completion of the novel, Game and Guide reported. The reports also indicate that Martin has been cancelling and declining various meetings or interviews in order for him to focus in writing "The Winds of Winter."

Meanwhile, in the television adaptation of the book series, it has been showed that Jon Snow has been resurrected from death. With that, theories are arising that this season will soon reveal the biological parents of Snow's father, Ned Stark, which fans said to be Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark.

Nevertheless, since no confirmation has been provided by the author, fans that have been waiting for "The Winds of Winter" may have to wait until Martin finally reveals the good news.
