Last month, Lionsgate, the film's producer, has confirmed that the highly political epic film would be shown in theaters in China in February despite possible censorship brought about by its plot which is sensitive in nature.

It was initially scheduled to be screened in the country simultaneously with other nations on Nov. 21, but was pushed back to January because of unknown reasons.

Upon the arrival of the changed release date, Lionsgate had announced that the film would yet again be postponed and would be released a month after.

Now, the story of passionate sister-turned-rebel would finally be hitting Chinese theaters just before the Chinese New Year in what has been deemed as the largest rollout for any "Hunger Games" film.

In promotion of her hit flick, Jennifer Lawrence, who plays the lead role of Katniss Everdeen, has even sent a special greeting for her fans in China last month.

Directed by Francis Lawrence and co-stars Hollywood celebs such as Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Sam Claflin, and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, "Mockingjay-Part 1" is based on the first half of the third and final book of Suzanne Collins' best-selling trilogy of the same title.
