Google Drive has been integrated in Evernote for web and Android app cloud storage to combine both of its features for those who need it the most. The new collaboration is currently in beta version.

The organizational tool has finally collaborated with one of the best cloud storage to date for web and Android apps, according to the official blog of Google Drive. This partnership was requested in the past by Evernote customers to make it easier for their work to be done since most of them use both tools. The two internet companies have listened to the pleas of their customers and made this partnership a reality.

The new tool is now in beta phase, and users will have to check it from Android or Google Chrome internet browser to use the features on those two platforms, according to Forbes. Users can activate the beta version of the collaborated tool easily by just clicking through the step by step instructions.

Users will be greeted with the Google Drive icon when they finally get the beta version. They can see that icon in the toolbar whenever they edit a note. When they click the icon, it will display the full list of their files that are currently stored in the storage, and they can search the particular document and also insert it by double-clicking it.

Evernote chief product officer Erik Wrobel said in a statement that the integration with Google Drive has helped people cultivate ideas with rich context. With their help, the work of the customers has been made easier and convenient for them.

Evernote CEO Chris O'Neill said in a statement that once their customers see how their software tool works well together with the cloud storage, they will use both of them right away. This is just a good development for their fans, he added.

The integration of the cloud storage currently is only available in Google Chrome and Android. Both companies will be announcing soon that other platforms will get this feature as soon as it is done with its beta phase testing.
