The Android Marshmallow update is rolling out for Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A. The update will be released soon for Samsung Galaxy A8.

Samsung Galaxy A8 with the model number SM-A800F received the Wi-Fi certification, which implies that the Android Marshmallow update is imminent for the device. It is expected to get the update in a fortnight.

Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A was released exclusively in South Korea and it is known as G906(LTE-A), according to Sam Mobile.  The build number of the Android Marshmallow update for this device is G906KKTU1CPE1.

The European variant of Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A known as G901(Plus) was the first one to get the Android Marshmallow update a week ago. Then the update was rolled out to the Singaporean variant, which is known as G901(Plus), according to GSM Arena.

The Android Marshmallow update is rolling out in a gradual manner for all the users. They need to check their devices to see if the update is available for their smartphone or not. To do so, they need to go to Settings> About Device> Check for Updates.

When the user is prompted to download the Android Marshmallow update then they need to connect their device to an unmetered and reliable Wi-Fi connection. They also need to connect the device to a power source if the battery levels are less than 50 percent for an uninterrupted download experience.

Android Marshmallow comes packed with numerous exciting features such as Now on Tap, Doze, StandBy mode, customized runtime permissions, vertical scrolling and a new Settings app. Its various usability features and power saving modes help to enhance the battery life of the device.

Meanwhile, with the release of Android N around the corner Samsung has rolled out Android Marshmallow to numerous devices such as Galaxy S5, Galaxy S5 Sport, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 4. The budget devices such as Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy A8, and Galaxy A7 are about to get the Android Marshmallow update very soon.
