HTC has confirmed on releasing Android N update for its smartphones such as HTC 10, HTC One M9 and HTC One A9.
HTC is the first among all the smartphone OEMs to confirm on the release of Android N for its smartphones. Through an official tweet, it has been confirmed that it will be giving out more information on the arrival time of the Android N OS for the aforementioned smartphones as well as for other devices later this year.

Google has now released the Android N Developer Preview 3 for Nexus branded devices such as Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, and Pixel C. It has confirmed that the final version Android N build in late summer, The Verge reported. Rumors are rife that the Android N will be made available for HTC devices only after it arrives first to Nexus devices.
In the past, HTC smartphone users have always encountered delay in receiving the Android updates. However, the company seems to have dealt with the problem well as it has already rolled out Android Marshmallow updates to its flagship and eligible midrange smartphones.
Android N is the upgraded edition of Marshmallow that brings exciting new features such as using apps in portrait and landscape modes, Tech Times reported. It also carries various improvements for battery peformance, Wi-Fi, multi-tasking through split-screen mode and more
The HTC 10 is the flagship smartphone from the company for this year. It is packed with impressive specs like 5.2-inch Quad HD screen, Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. It comes in 32 GB and 64 GB storage versions and features a microSD card slot. It has a 12 MP rear shooter enabled with features such as OIS and laser autofocus. It is packed with 3000 mAh battery.
HTC One A9 is an upper midrange smartphone from the company that bears an uncanny resemblance to iPhone 6S. It is fitted with a 5-inch full HD screen. Its 16 GB model features 2 GB of RAM whereas its 32 GB variant has 3 GB of RAM. It has powered by Snapdragon 617 chipset. It features a OIS enabled 13 MP rear camera along with a selfie shooter of 4 MP. It is equipped with a 2150 mAh battery.
The HTC 10 and HTC One A9 came preinstalled with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The HTC One M9 is a flagship smartphone of 2015. It specs include 5-inch full HD screen, Snapdragon 810, 3 GB of RAM, 20 MP rear camera, 4 MP frontal camera, and 2840 mAh battery.
