This year's Electronics Expo or E3 is less than a month away. Unsurprisingly, avid gamers can barely handle their excitement over what the event has in store for them. Considering recent rumors surrounding Sony's rumored new console and the possibility of an Xbox Two, it is easy to see why videogame enthusiasts are excited for this year's convention.

Nintendo followers, on the other hand, are still reeling from the news that the latest Nintendo console would not be part of the upcoming E3. Nevertheless, there are recent reports claiming that it won't be too long until they can get their hands on the highly anticipated, Nintendo NX.

Less than a month ago, a tech reporter from Tokyo, Takashi Mochizuki, confirmed that the Nintendo NX would not be present during the Electronics Expo. On Twitter, Mochizuki revealed that Nintendo has chosen to focus on unveiling the new "Legends of Zelda" game.

Thankfully, according to Game Rant, the Nintendo NX should arrive in September in time for the Tokyo Game Show. While the report remains unverified, the Tokyo Game Show seems to be an appropriate venue to announce and showcase a new console. Moreover, the unveiling may also lend more credibility to the Tokyo Game Show - which has lost its significance in light of E3's popularity.

Elsewhere, IGN recently published a report detailing a recent statement made by Tatsumi Kimishima, Nintendo's president, surrounding the Nintendo NX. According to Kimishima, Nintendo gamers should brace themselves for a completely new experience with the arrival of the NX. Kimishima explains that the NX is nothing like its predecessors - it is a completely new way to play games.

"The NX is neither the successor to the Wii U nor to the 3DS. It's a new way of playing games, which I think will have a larger impact than the Wii U, but I don't feel it's a pure replacement for the Wii U," quipped by Kimishima.

At present, Nintendo has yet to comment on persistent rumors surrounding the release of their newest console - the Nintendo NX. The upcoming E3 is scheduled to kick off on June 14, 2016.
