Eva Mendes's partner Ryan Gosling seemed to be eager to be back to Twitter recently. On Feb. 4, Gosling tweeted, "Long time no Tweet... Let's see if this thing still works" with a link to "Lost River" trailer.

Prior to this, the last time Gosling tweeted was on April 11, 2013, when he was pleading for help for "Porno" star Jonny Lee Miller.

Almost two years later, Gosling wrote several tweets, one of which reads, "OK, am I tweeting too much now? What's the twitter etiquette?" with a poster for "Lost River" by artist Jay Shaw.

It appears that Gosling needs Twitter advice from Shailene Woodley's "Insurgent" co-actor Ansel Elgort.

In an exclusive interview with uInterview in 2014, Elgort said, "If I'm having a bad (day), I probably just won't tweet."

Known for his roles in "Divergent" and "The Fault In Our Stars" with Woodley, the 20-year-old actor wants to "encourage people to be positive and to chase their dreams."

Considering that he has some young people who might be influenced by what he tweet, Elgort said he has to be careful of what he writes on Twitter where he has more than two million followers.

The impact of social media on the modern generation has a lot to do with the story of Elgort's recent film "Men, Women And Children," which also starred Adam Sandler and "Gone Girl" star Ben Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner.

In the "Men, Women And Children", Elgort played an antisocial 15-year-old boy who sought companionship in an online role-playing video game after his parents separated.
