In "Bones" Season 11 episode 16 titled "The Strike in the Chord," which aired on May 19, the team investigated the death of the leader of "The Whippersnaps," the Lynwood University male acapella singing group. In the next episodes, Dr. Jack Hodgins (TJ Thyne) will go all in to find the killer.

Hodgins will make a wildly dangerous move. This will help him gain some acceptance about his paralysis after applying for an experimental nerve regeneration study.

In "The Strike in the Chord," which was written by Yael Zinkow and directed by Michael Lange, a new intern joined the Jeffersonian lab while Booth tried to plan a summer trip with Parker Booth (Gavin MacIntosh). Along with Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel), Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) is initially sidelined on an upcoming case, Entertainment Weekly has learned.

"Bones" Season 11 finale titled "The Nightmare within the Nightmare" is set to air on July 21. In April, executive producer Michael Peterson said they have plans for the new killer has a fascination with mother figures to continue into the finale.

"We'll probably look at them one more time in this season and one more time next season," Peterson told TV Guide. "If we're having fun, we might go a little longer."

Peterson added that viewers can expect one more in Season 11 and one more in Season 12. The next season is also expected to premiere before 2017.

Set to air on May 26, "Bones" Season 11 episode 17 is titled "The Secret in the Service." It is written by Kandall Sand and Mary Trahan and directed by Dwight Little.

The episode before the "Bones" Season 11 finale is titled "The Jewel in the Crown." The episode will feature Sebastian Roche and Nicole Bilderback as Inspector Rousseau and Eve Mayweather, respectively.

Bilderback is also set to star in the upcoming TV movie "Snow" as Pocahontas. Among her co-stars are "New Girl" star Jaidan Jiron, "The Germericans" alum Nick Somers, "The Night Shift" actor David Goryl and "Firsts" alum Courtney Rackley, among others.
