The latest details for "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature more than 12 episodes in the works and possible new details for the anime show at Anime Expo 2016.

It seems that the production of "One Punch Man" season 2 has already begun as manga creator Yusuke Murata confirmed that they are at the first phase of the production and will likely meet the demands of anime fans of launching the show sometime this year or in the early months of 2017.

Previous reports claim that one of the reasons "One Punch Man" season 2's delays is because of the lack of source materials in order to make the show. Murata explained that they are already updating the source materials for anime, but there has yet to be any details regarding what storyline will it be based on.

One such storyline for "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature a "civil war" like plot involving the the Hero Association and the Hero Hunters as Saitama and Genos are caught in the conflict. While other anime fans speculated that the plot be based on the "Hero Hunt" arc which involves the villain Garou, the former student of S-Class Hero Silver Fang.

In addition, "One Punch Man" season 2 will likely have more than 12 episodes within the show due to the manga series having nine volumes and it looks like the series will not end so soon. Madhouse could have more materials they can use for the next seasons of the anime show, When-Will reported.

In other news, it seems that anime fans will look forward to more "One Punch Man" details during this year's Anime Expo event next month.

The Anime Expo 2016 event will be on July 1-4 in Los Angeles California as anime fans are exicited to see the guest, musical peformances and possible new details for new and upcoming anime shows. One of them is "One Punc Man" as Saitama voice actor Makoto Fukurawa and anime director Shingo Natsume along with the rest of thr production team, not to mention a perfomance by JAM Project who are responsible for the anime's main theme, Crunchyroll reported.

So far, there are no further information as to what they are doing during the event as fans are eager to know if they will announce details "One Punch Man" season 2.

There is also a new OVA episode for "One Punch Man" on May 27 titled "The Murder Case that is Too Impossible" and it will feature Saitama and the rest of the S-Class heroes solving the death of Zombieman.

Volume 6 of "One Punch Man" Blu-ray and DVD will feature episodes 11 and 12, the 6th OVA, two episodes of the spin-off anime "One Punch Man Hamidashi Gekijou" (One-Punch Man Forced Out Theater), a non-credited versions of the opening and ending themes, an audio drama, character Song CD and English Subtitles.

Anime fans will be expecting more information of "One Punch Man" season 2 soon.
