Before "Game of Thrones" Season 6 even began, the show's promotional pictures featuring Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) triggered a speculation that she may be pregnant with Ramsay Bolton's (Iwan Rheon) child. As Sansa was shown coming to terms with Ramsay's atrocities in he trecent episode, the speculation once again emerged that she is indeed carrying a baby.

The opening scene of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 episode 5 showed Sansa confronting Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) about his move of handing her over to Ramsay. She tells him that Ramsay tortured her as he liked as long as she could still give him an heir.

"I can still feel what he did in my body, standing here right now," said Sansa at one point, which led the fans to believe that she is hinting at her hidden pregnancy.

Also, Jon Snow (Kit Haringtonn) notes that Sansa is wearing a new dress. The shot made some fans suggest that she made herself new concealing clothing since she is trying to keep the pregnancy news to herself for the time being. Earlier in episode 4, she was shown having problems while eating the Night's Watch's food, suggesting a case of early pregnancy sickness.

While a fan theory suggests that the pregnancy is likely to knock down Sansa once again, others believe that she is likely to use it to her advantage. It is also possible that after Ramsay's defeat at the hands of Jon Snow, the possibility of Sansa's child can unite the men loyal to the Boltons with Starks.

Whether or not Sansa is carrying a child, it seems that Turner's character will continue to stand on her own this season. The actress has declared earlier during an interview that Sansa is sick of being a pawn.

"Every time she goes somewhere with someone, it doesn't work out. So just doing her own thing and trying to make people listen to her. It's very much about her taking her own path," the actress told Los Angeles Times.

Meanwhile, after being forcefully engaged to the blood-thirsty psychopath, enduring a loveless marriage to Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and escaping from her rapist husband Ramsay, Turner want her character to rethink her sexual orientation. While speaking during an interview, the 20-year-old actress declared that Sansa should "swing the other way."

"In the Game of Thrones universe, I think she's going to have to swing the other way because the men thing isn't working for her," the actress told Entertainment Weekly before suggesting Margaery (Natalie Dormer) as her possible on-screen lover.
