The Jaguar’s driver attempted to stop the woman from leaving by blocking her car, but it did not stop the enraged female driver from ramming the Jaguar several times until she was able to leave. While the woman was crashing into the Jaguar several times using the SUV, the crowd outside the parking area in Siming District was even cheering her.

There was also a police officer present at the scene, but he did not intervene. Although the Range Rover driver managed to drive away her SUV, she was eventually arrested in Xiamen for intentional damage to property, reported People’s Daily.

As more Chinese become wealthy, vehicle purchase becomes more common which explains the growing number of road rage incidents in urban areas. In Sichuan Province, after a car was cut off in traffic, the vehicle’s driver deliberately crashed onto the front of another automobile.

The country’s Police Department said that since January 2012 through April 2016, the 104 million traffic violations recorded in China were linked to some form of road rage as motorists suddenly swerve or overtake other slow-moving cars that do not yield to faster vehicles on congested city streets.
