According to Bustle, the fate of "I am Cait" Season 3 could go either way. While the E! reality docu-series raked in a decent number of viewers, its Season 2 ratings is clearly far from the stellar performance of the first season. For instance, the Season 2 premiere only drew 745,000 viewers while the first episode of Season 1 pulled in a whopping 2.73 million viewers.

With the ratings declining each episode, fans of "I am Cait" were starting to wonder if they will ever get to see a Season 3. The author argued that the Jenner's journey is something that "the world needs to see." She pointed out that it gave viewers a clearer insight on transgenders and the issues they had to deal with everyday, something that clearly does not pop up in everyday conversations.

"Season 2 of I Am Cait began to serve as a platform of acceptance, awareness, and demonstrated a story that needed to be told. Jenner is continuing to pave the way for a growing sensitivity surrounding trans representation right now."

In the Season 2 finale of "I am Cait," Jenner was seen confronting a reverend for his "highly offensive" comments. Kate Bornstein shared that Jenner ended up having a four-minute conversation with the reverend, in which she called him off on his unacceptable behavior.

"Caitlyn said to him, 'I need you to know that your comments on that video are highly offensive to me and all trans people.' And no one has said that to his face before that," Bornstein recounted.

In spite of the flak she received from the church, Jenny Boylan shared that it did not deter fans from approaching Jenner. She shared that many people, particularly those under the age of 13, came up to the "I am Cait" star and asked to take photos.
