While we are months away from the Season 4 premiere of “The 100,” spoilers on what to expect in the coming episodes have already started circulated online. By the looks of it, viewers will get to see more of Jaha (Isaiah Washington) and how his life changes after Clarke (Eliza Taylor) hit ALIE’s kill switch.
In an interview with E! News, via Melty, Washington shared that he is beyond excited to see what is in store for Jaha when "The 100" returns for Season 4. While some may feel a bit of sympathy towards him, the outlet pointed out that he brought this trouble upon himself after all. Washington, himself, admitted that there is going to be a "long road of repair" for his character.
Washington, however, refused to associate words like "redemption" or "redeeming" when it comes to Jaha. He pointed out that most of "The 100" cast had the tendency to ebb and flow from good and evil. More than anything, he told IGN that is curious to find out how Jaha will be able to get a following. He added that his character is "very enigmatic" and "very charming" so people can't really discount him that easily.
"The 100" star added no matter what others may say, Jaha always had his heart in the right place.
"If you can remember in Season 1 and Season 2, he was committed to delivering his people, no matter what. The question is, what drove that? Was it the grief of his son? Or was it him? Or was it everything? I mean this is the man who chose to stay on the Ark when all of humanity, he sent the Ark down. His heart is in the right place. We just really have to figure out where his soul is."
In "The 100" Season 3 finale, ALIE warned Clarke that if she continued with her plan, a dozen nuclear facilities will blow up soon, making 96 percent of the earth's surface in uninhabitable in less than six months. In spite of the threat, Clarke decided to go with it, thinking that they will eventually figure something out.
When asked if ALIE's threat was true, Jaha refused to answer directly.
"Whatever that threat is, I bet you can count on Jaha leading his particular path to keep the human race safe," he said.
The CW has yet to announce the official release date of "The 100" Season 4. Tune in for more spoilers and cast updates.
