Known for her role as Sansa Stark in the HBO series "Game of Thrones," Sophie Turner was recently on the big screen playing the role of Jean Grey in "X-Men: Apocalypse." The actress appeared to have enjoyed playing the film as she expressed her interest in doing a Dark Phoenix spinoff in a future "X-Men" film.

In an interview with USA Today, the actress said it was it was "kind of set up for it" in "X-Men: Apocalypse," in which viewers see hints of Phoenix. She added, "And it's really exciting that we're kind of exploring this good Phoenix at the moment and we're not doing the Dark Phoenix."

As Turner pointed out, there are a lot of ways to go with Phoenix considering the super-strong powers that she has so a Dark Phoenix saga should be made. On the other hand, the actress hopes that she will be a good superhero for a while.

Before "X-Men: Apocalypse" hit theaters on May 27, the "Game of Thrones" actress told Entertainment Weekly that she was an "X-Men" fan. She said she has seen all the "X-Men" films and read a couple of the comics when she was younger.

According to Turner, "X-Men" is one of those franchises where it is not only about being a fully formed superhero but also about the story arcs and flaws of all the characters. She emphasized that all of the superheroes have their own insecurities.

This was what Turner said drew her to "X-Men" particularly the story of and Jean Grey that she always loved. The character was originally played by "The Blacklist" actress Famke Janssen in previous "X-Men" films.

Turner's version of Jean Grey cannot control her powers and she and Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) can see just how strong she is, the "Game of Thrones" actress explained. She added that her character is alienated by all the children at the school because they are scared of her.

Being a teenager going through puberty, Jean Grey is very terrified and extremely vulnerable, the actress explained. She added that the character is like a lone wolf who made a connection with Scott Summers/Cyclops (Tye Sheridan).
