The re-release date of "Resident Evil 5" on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One has been revealed by Capcom recently. The video game will run with higher graphic features that will meet with latest console's hardware.

The classic zombie survival video game that was first released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and later on the PC is now coming to the current generation consoles, according to VG247. It will be re-released on both consoles on June 28, and it will be part of the re-release batch of video games from the zombie survival game series, which was announced earlier this year.

The new version of the classic video game will now run at 1080p resolution on the current gen consoles. Players will also be able to notice the higher frame-rate than it was on its original release on the Xbox 360 and PS3. They will also be able to enjoy all of the released add-ons, and also the exclusive No Mercy mode on the PC.

According to Gamespot, the video game will also get an additional mode called The Mercenaries United mode. Players will be able to use all of the characters in this mode, since it will be unlocked right from the start. This mode lets them shoot zombies in a chain attack, just like in an arcade shooter game, and complete the objectives within the time limit.

The PC version of the game had a more difficult version of the Mercenaries, which was the No Mercy mode. Zombies and other creatures would be tougher, a bit quicker, and players will be swarmed by them if they are not careful.

In February, the video game publisher announced their plans to re-release three "Resident Evil" games from the whole series, which were "Resident Evil 4," "Resident Evil 5," and "Resident Evil 6." All of these games will be released on the PS4 and the Xbox One, and the sixth iteration of the game series was launched in March. Each of the video games has a price of $20.

In other news, rumors suggest that "Resident Evil 7" is now in development, and it might be announced during E3 2016. The game company has hired designer Jordan Amaro to work on the game and this new sequel might go back to its horror origins of its first few games of the series.
