“Pretty Little Liars” is Freeform’s longest running series to date. After being on air for more than six years, many predicted that “PLL” will end after Season 7. Fans, however, still have something to look forward to as several reports claimed that Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale), Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell), Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson), Spencer Hasting’s (Troian Bellisario) journey will end with a huge “PLL” movie.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, "Pretty Little Liars" creator Marlene King admitted that Season 7 is going to be the "beginning of the end" for the series. While Hale confirmed that she would be leaving the show for good after this season, King and her team have yet to talk about their future plans for the show. She, however, remained hopeful that there will be a "Pretty Little Liars" movie to tie the whole series up.
"We've sort of known what this season was going to be for a long, long time, so we're very well-prepared and excited and it's really going to be epic with a capital 'E,'" King said.
Perhaps one of the highly anticipated scenes in "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 is the wedding, which the executive producer confirmed back in May. She said that the coming season is going to be the "most romantic" season to date, with at least one Rosewood couple walking down the aisle. TV Line speculated that the big wedding could be for Hanna and Jordan (David Coussins). Given, however, that Hanna and Caleb shared a steamy kiss in the Season 6 finale, she may just end up changing her mind. Is Haleb back for good?
Another love triangle that fans can look forward to when "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 returns is the whole Aria-Ezra-Liam affair. Although Aria cannot seem to get Ezra out of her head, it was said that she will still be with Liam in the premiere. It is, however, only a matter of time before she makes her decision.
