The Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 update is rolling out for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. It is only available for the devices with the model number G935F.

Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 firmware has the build number XXU1APE9, according to Team Android. The update is available for all the global variants of the devices with the above-mentioned model number.

The Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 update is rolling out in a gradual manner for all the users and they ought to get it by the next fortnight. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge device owners can also use the Samsung KIES desktop tool to get the latest update for their device.

Alternatively, users can check their Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge devices to see if they are prompted to download the software update or not. To do so, they need to go to Settings> About Device> Check for Software Update.

In case the users are prompted to update their devices with the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 firmware then they would first need to connect their Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to an unmetered and stable Wi-Fi connection.
