PlayStation 4 users are in for a treat as accessories manufacturer Hori is set to release a Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X mini controller when it officially launches in August also for the PS Vita.

Users who are used to the large controllers on the PlayStation 4 console may need time adjusting on the mini controller for the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X to be released on August 25, 2016 for Japan. The North and South America PS4 users will receive the game and the mini controller a little later on August 30.

The advantage of the smaller controller is so that players can tap the buttons faster because of the narrower space among them. Rhythm games always need fast eye and hand coordination in order for the player to excel at the game.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X HD will also allow PlayStation 4 users to assign the buttons however they like, Siliconera has learned. Players who like to approach the rhythm game differently can choose to do so with a different set of buttons on the new mini controller.

Sega and Crypton Future Media has already released the game for the PlayStation Vita in Japan on March. Due to the demand of the game for players in other parts of the world, the developer and publisher have decided a release for North and South America as well.

The Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X game could finally go to Europe as well for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita users because of Sega Europe's publishing, Gematsu reported. European players will finally be able to join American and Japanese players in enjoying vocaloid music.

Sega EU community manager Dan Sheridan has already teased players in Europe by saying that they have been planning a European release. The statement was made after the American announcement for the game's release.

The Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X game will finally be available for PlayStation 4 users in Japan along with the new mini controller from Hori. Players in North and South America can expect the game by August 30 but the European release could take a few weeks more.
