"Batman: A Telltale Games Series" has been highly anticipated since it was publicly introduced by game developer Telltale Games back in March at the SXSW Gaming Expo. Since then, leaks and specific release information about the supposed five episode game has been widely sought both by gaming enthusiasts and Batman fanatics.

Information about the exact release date of Telltale's "Batman" game series has been highly classified, much more details and key features of the game's storyline. However, fans should expect an "excellent writing and drama" that would probably stem from the original storyline of the famous cape crusader, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

Though storyline of the game may spring forth from the original storyline of "Batman," fans should not expect that the game's storyline would be faithful to what most movies and TV series previously projected. According to Telltale's CEO Kevin Bruner, the game would likely exhibit "new Telltale stuff."

"It's still a Telltale game, but it will be evolved from what you've seen [from Telltale] before." Polygon quoted Kevin Bruner as saying. "But I think a more significant step than you've seen from any of our products in the past, both technologically and creatively I think there's a lot of really cool things going into Batman."

During the SXSW gaming expo, it was revealed that players will have more freedom in exploring the main character's life, not just as a hero of Gotham but most especially as a private individual, Bruce Wayne. There would be scenes in the game wherein players will have to choose on whether to approach it as the Batman or as the billionaire Mr. Wayne. Apart from main character, game characters such as Alfred Pennyworth, Vicki Vale, James Gordon, and Renee Montoya would also be present in the game.

Meanwhile, with regards to its arrival, as of now expecting gamers are only given bits information about the confirmed timeline of release which would be in the summer of 2016. There is still no exact date for the release of Telltale's "Batman" game series, but confirmation of its release date this summer has been fully cemented.

Head of Creative Communications for Telltale Games announced on his Twitter account the release of the "Batman: A Telltale Games Series," which is to be followed by another game release from the same game publisher.


For gamers and enthusiasts wanting to more of the game and its possible specific date of release, it would be best to wait for the E3 event this month. There would be a high possibility that a preview and announcement of details about the game would be given during the event.
