The baby of Howard and Bernadette will not be immediately be born in the early episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10, as the think tank of the show decided to take time on the gestation period. In most fictional worlds, the pregnancy period may take only an anecdotal part of the story, but in this case, pregnancy may take the form of a central motif of several episodes, or possibly the entire season, TVLine has learned.

Fans may need to watch the entire season before they could see the cute bundle of joy of the couple. It is likely that the pregnancy would be part of a running gag and conflict development of Season 10, but it may also be just occasionally alluded to.

The producer and writer of the show, Steve Molaro, confirmed that the creative team agreed that there is no need to rush the pregnancy. He said that they prefer to "roll out" the pregnancy in a similar timeframe in real life, which is about nine months or almost the entire season.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the pregnancy is indeed a major change but not something that could radically rewrite the show.

It was during the last season's episode, titled "The Valentino Submergence," that Bernadette's pregnancy was revealed. It was a surprise discovery with hilarious premise of going to the hospital for rabbit bite treatment - a rabbit in the Wallowitz's new bathtub bit Bernadette.

Fans shared the joy of Howard and friends upon learning of Bernadette's pregnancy. Howard was anxious that he may not become a good provider for his baby, as it was revealed that Howard's dad left their family when he was still a child. He does not want his child to suffer the same resentment he had for his father.

In a separate story by E! Online, the actor who played Raj in the sitcom, Kunal Nayyar, has not denied the rumors about the possibility that Season 10 may be the last season of the comedy TV series. He even said "Look, next season, as it stands on our contract, could be the last season of Big Bang Theory. To be completely honest, I know people are gonna want to know what happens after season 10."
