Twitter celebrities have been experiencing hacks during the past weeks, and now the social network's co-founder Evan Williams has reportedly just had his account hacked. A hacker group named OurMine tweeted on June 8, Wednesday that it had compromised Williams' Twitter account. The group also claimed it launched a hack attack on Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's social media accounts on June 6, Monday.

Mashable reported its tweet about Williams' hacked account was deleted within minutes. The microblogging service noted in a statement that its policy is not to comment on individual Twitter accounts.

Meanwhile, the social giant stated that other online services had experienced millions of passwords being stolen during past weeks. They include social network Myspace. The microblogging service recommended that its users choose strong and unique passwords.

A growing number of high-profile Twitter accounts have had security breaches recently. They include those of singers Drake and Katy Perry, and the National Football League (NFL).

Zuckerberg's Twitter and Pinterest accounts were also compromised earlier this week. It seems that the hack of his accounts was related to a LinkedIn report last May that over 100 million user passwords had been leaked.

OurMine claimed that Zuckerberg had used the password "dadada." He recently became a father so guessing the password would not have been laborious.

Facebook's CEO had multiple social network accounts hacked. It suggests that Zuckerberg used the same passwords for several websites and services, which is a common practice.

In addition, hackers might have used malware to steal over 32 million Twitter login credentials and are now selling them on the dark web, according to Tech Crunch.

Twitter reports that its systems have not been breached. A Twitter spokesperson stated that it has been checking its data with the information that has been shared from recent password leaks.

LeakedSource is a site that contains a search engine with leaked login credentials. It stated in a blog post that it got a copy of user information from the alias of the same person who last week provided it with hacked data form a Russian social network.

Last year the account of Twitter's Chief Financial Officer Anthony Noto was also hacked. It resulted in the account tweeting many spam-like messages, according to NDTV
