Tinder is reportedly banning all users under the age of 18 from using its dating app. The age requirement has been 13 years old since the social network was launched in 2012. In the past teens were matched up with other people in their age group, but starting next week no under-aged teenagers will be allowed to use the mobile platform.

Tinder told Tech Crunch that Tinder has made more than 11 billion matches since its launch. However, because of its responsibility to gauge its users' experiences it will end service for users under 18 years old.

The so-called "swiping app" will start the new policy next week. It will affect less than 3 percent of the dating app's global user base, according to PC Magazine.

Tinder CEO Sean Rad also recently promised a user-friendly experience for transgender customers. However, the company provided few details about the app's new filters.

The dating app has made several changes lately. They include the new "Super Like" that lets someone know they are a one-in-a-million person, and the option to add work and education information in user profiles. Tinder also tested profile-sharing with friends.

Meanwhile, Tinder co-founder Whitney Wolfe has launched the location-based social/dating app Bumble. It only allows women to start chats with dating matches.

The company takes quick action against anti-women comments. A user named "Connor" was recently publically shamed after he got angry when a female user asked what kind of work he does for a living.

Connor claimed that female users like "Ashley" often ask about his career and how much money he makes. He stated that he put his job in his profile to test female Tinder users.

Bumble added a blog post that called Connor a small-minded, woman-hating man. He was also blocked from the social app.

In related news, supporters of real estate billionaire Donald Trump have launched a new dating service for fans of the GOP presidential candidate, according to The Sun. It is found at TrumpSingles.com.

The site was launched by California TV producer David Goss. He explained that some of the bold comments made by the conservative politician have made it harder for his supporters to get dates.

A mobile app for fans of The Donald is set to launch during the next week.
