A user of the forum NeoGAF spotted the new photo. It seems Microsoft accidentally uploaded images of Xbox One Slim before the E3 gaming convention.

The software giant is referring to the console as "Xbox One S." It is 40 percent smaller than the first Xbox One launched in 2013, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

The console also includes a 2TB hard drive, which allows it to save a copious amount of games and data. Meanwhile, the original Xbox One is only sold with up to 1TB of storage space.

Xbox One Slim will also support 4K ultra-high definition (UHD) resolution. The game system also includes a sleeker controller and vertical stand.

An image of a vertical Xbox One Slim appears in an image posted by NeoGAF user Ekim. The person also makes the claim that the smaller Xbox One has a built-in power supply.

Xbox Slim will reportedly not include a power brick that is included with the current version. Microsoft will likely share more details about Xbox One Slim during its E3 press conference. The console will reportedly launch later this year, but images seem to suggest that the system will be available through pre-orders after the yearly gaming show.

In related news, Sony confirmed on June 10, Friday that it is developing a more powerful version of its PS4 console. Andrew House is CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). He told the Financial Times that that the high-end version of PS4 would cost more than the original $350 model.

House shared that the so-called PS4 Neo will sit beside and work with the standard PS4, according to Polygon. Both models will be sold throughout the entire life cycle.

PS4 Neo will be developed for serious gamers and work with 4K TV sets. It also seems the powerful PS4 will function more smoothly with the PlayStation VR headset.
