Season 6 finale ended with a major cliffhanger with "Uber A" kidnapping Hanna, whose fate remains uncertain. "Pretty Little Liars" (PLL) Season 7 episode 1 picks up from where the show left off and will see the Liars put everything on line to save their friend before it's too late. They must expose "Uber A" in order to bring him/her down for once and for all.

According to Freeform's synopsis for "Pretty Little Liars" (PLL) Season 7 premiere on official website, Aria, Spencer and Emily search for Hanna and work together to save her. However, the only way they can protect Hanna is to hand over the one evidence that reveals who killed Charlotte "Uber A." Liars are forced to walk the path and cross the lines that they have never before.

Meanwhile, entertainment publication TV Line is speculating that Charlotte's murderer will be revealed sooner rather than later.

A promo video for "Pretty Little Liars" (PLL) Season 7 premiere teases another murder. The Rosewood girls are distressed as they dig the ground.

"It was a well-thought-out plan. When it ends like this, it is called murder," Spencer says in the trailer.

Another shot shows a mysterious girl hanging from the church tower.

In addition, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Lindsay Shaw is returning to the show as Paige McCullers. She was last seen in Season 5 and will be first seen in Season 7 episode 8 since her exit. While details about her storyline are still under the wrap, it is said that her return may revive the romance for Paige and Emily.
