It was about 2 years ago when the action thriller film, "John Wick," was shown on the big screen. With its box office success, a sequel of the hit movie, titled "John Wick 2," is now in production, and a few clues about its possible plot have been provided to the fans.

According to Collider, the official synopsis of the upcoming "John Wick 2" was already released. The synopsis says that the lead protagonist, John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, is going to have a trip to Rome in order to help a friend in fighting an international group of assassins. The group is said to be composed of the world's deadliest assassins.

On the other hand, Ian McShane provided some hints about the anticipated "John Wick 2." The actor said during his interview with Entertainment Weekly that the director of the film, Chad Stahelski, obtained every stuntman he could acquire, and that the action scenes seems like it was made by someone from Hong Kong. McShane added that Riccardo Scamarcio is going to be the sequel's main antagonist.

For reference, "John Wick" was a 2014 film that revolves with a retired assassin. The lead character's wife just died leaving him a puppy and a '69 mustang. When John took his car in the gas station, he met 3 Russian gangsters. The gangsters then followed him and broke into his house. He was beaten by the Russians, killed the puppy that his wife gave him before she died, and took his '69 mustang.

The Russians then realized that the person they attacked was one of the best assassins called as "The Boogeyman." At the end of "John Wick," John managed to get his revenge by killing the people responsible for the incident, and he also got a new dog. The production spent $20 million to make the first installment, and it earned a worldwide total of $86 million.
