New details for "Watch Dogs 2" will feature new E3 2016 gameplay trailers and Ubisoft tease finishing the game without killing.
Ubisoft was in attendance in this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo this week were they revealed more details on "Watch Dogs 2" and not to mention showcasing new gameplay trailers. Ubisoft managed to show off "Watch Dogs 2" as senior producer Dominic Gabe explains them all the E3 2016 gameplay demo featuring the new protagonist Marcus Halloway as he is given a mission by DedSec to hack evidence and expose congressman Mark Thruss for manipulating the population via social media.
Marcus will meet up with fellow DedSec member WRENCH as they try to infiltrate his heavily guarded penthouse at night. In the demo, "Watch Dogs 2's" hacking capabilities has been greatly expanded as Marcus can utilize drones both land and air to hack into the system using network hacking as Marcus can hack into the cameras to spy on potential threats and take photos for further evidence.
Gamers are given a choice as to how they can approach the mission either do it without getting into the penthouse or infiltrate as a "ghost". Like the previous game, Marcus can use the environment to his advantage as he can hack any electronic device to distract or incapacitate enemy guards.
Marcus can also hack electronic door locks to get inside and prevent enemies from entering the building. A new explosive device called the Zapper which can create an electronic shock to everyone touching it. Using drones to hack Thruss' computers, the guards will be alerted to an incoming hacker and Marcus must defend himself by the Thunder Ball for melee combat or a variety set of guns like rifles and a taser. The demo ends with Marcus successfully escaping the penthouse with DedSec acquiring evidence against Thruss.
In addition, Ubisoft launched a new trailer for "Watch Dogs 2" which features more hacking, parkour and combat features in San Francisco. Marcus can hack not just computer systems but cars as well giving the players to freedom to cause mayhem however they like it, VG 24/7 reported.
In other news, Ubisoft teased fans that "Watch Dogs 2" can be finished without ever killing everybody within the game.
Game director Danny Balenger told Gamespot that Ubisoft supports non-lethal methods as the game offers more than that for the gamers. Balenger added that it will be a difficult task since some missions will require lethal force, but will try their best to have a non-lethal approuch as possible.
Given that "Watch Dogs 2" will let players decide how to handle missions on their own, the sequel may offer different solutions and gamers can finish the game without ever killing everyone depending on the situation.
Ubisoft added that "Watch Dogs 2" DLC will arrive on the PlayStation 4 console first 30 days earlier than the PC and Xbox One platforms. There are also six expansion packs for "Watch Dogs 2" such as Deluxe Edition, Gold Edition, The San Francisco Edition, Wrench Junior Robot Collector's Pack and Return of DedSec Collector's Box.
"Watch Dogs 2" will launch on Nov. 15 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
