A new set of photographs from the upcoming "Game of Thrones" Season 6 episode 9 "Battle of the Bastards" hinted that the entire focus of the episode will be on the Winterfell and the long-awaited battle between Sansa Stark, Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton.

While all the three competitors trying to win back Winterfell look determined and regal, their lieutenants - Tormund, Davos and Wun Wun - look specially equipped to make their leader to win. But the clash is not the only thing that the episode will broadcast, according to Vanity Fair. There will be plenty of conflict to fill the 60-minute episode with all the exciting drama.

The pictures posted by the publication reveal that Smalljon Umber might really murder the direwolf before handing Rickon Stark to Ramsay. While fans may be a lot worried about the fate of Rickon Stark, there is a lot more to worry about the character who just got back from dead in "Game of Thrones" Season 6 episode 5, Jon Snow.

The teaser for the penultimate episode shows Jon Snow tells Melisandre not to bring him back if he dies during the "Battle of the Bastards." The speculations are high that the entire show might take a violent turn by eliminating the character that was brought back again a few episodes earlier.

However, the recent photos from the upcoming episode tell a different story. Jon Snow is depicted as strong as ever as he looks down on a massive fleet of soldiers ready to fight on horseback. May be, John will be able to make it out of the battle alive and turn out to be the ultimate winner of the battle.

According to the Shaggydog theory that became viral in May 2016 and reported by TV Guide, the Umbers may try to win Ramsay Bolton's trust by standing in for the Manderlys. Smalljon Umber, on the other hand, would fake Shaggydog's death and end up joining the Bolton army to fight against Jon Snow and his batalion.

However, when both the armies start fighting, the Umbers might reveal their true faith and loyalty for the Starks and start attacking the Bolton army. The Boltons, as a result, will end up being surrounded by enemies from all sides.
