On July 16, Thursday, industry insiders revealed the possibility of Lee returning to the small screen with a drama written by Heo Sung-Hye, whose previous projects include KBS2's "Beyond the Clouds" (2014), Soompi reported. The publication notes that Shin has also been mentioned as the possible female lead in the said show.

"Tomorrow With You" is a fantasy drama that depicts the exceptional love story between a time traveler and his newly-wedded wife, Drama Beans has learned. It will benefit from the work of director Yoo Je-Won.

If actress Shin does end up accepting the offer, she will play the traveler's wife, which is described as a delightful, refreshing diverting and a happy, courageous heroine. It would be her drama comeback in five months after wrapping up KBS2's "Oh My Venus" and marks her first time appearing in a tvN drama.

Lee, on the other hand, is currently fulfilling his two-year mandatory military enlistment, as a public service worker. He is expected to be discharged on Aug. 3. If Lee confirms the role, it would also be his drama comeback in four years since tvN's Shut Up! Flower Boy Band in 2012.

Nonetheless, it should also be noted that Lee and Shin have previously worked together in the 2009's thriller film called "A Million," in which they played Park Cheol Hee and Jo Yoo Jin, respectively. The critically-acclaimed film takes over eight individuals, who enter a reality TV show to win ₩1 billion (approximately $1 million), given that they survive a 7-day period in the Australian Outback.

Although nothing has been officially set in stone yet, speculations are rife that the drama will most likely hit the airwaves sooner or later in September at 8:30 P.M. (KST) after "The Good Wife" ends its run. It is said that the giant cable company is still negotiating the time slot arrangements with another upcoming drama, "K2," which star actor Ji Chang Wook.

More details about the forthcoming fantasy-romance drama are expected to be revealed soon. Stay tuned for more news and updates as they arrive. While waiting, check out the video below:
