The movie-making arm of Chinese conglomerate Alibaba Group has revealed a 17-film lineup scheduled to hit theaters in the coming years.

Alibaba Pictures' list includes "Zhengtu," "Storming 30 Years" and "No Other Love." Two TV series are also in the pipeline, namely, "The Legend of Zu 2" and "Ge Jin Tao Hu."

According to Variety, the slate is a massive step up from the incremental additions it has made to its production lineup since last year when it boarded the Wong Kar-wai-produced "[The Ferryman]."

The lineup, disclosed recently at a conference in Shanghai, sees a combination of original concepts and remakes.

"Die Hard 2" director Renny Harlin was tapped to do "Legend of the Ancient Sword," which was based on an original TV series. The show is alternatively titled "Sword of Legends 2."

Other features in the lineup are "Asura," "Qi Huan Zhi Lv," "Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossom" and "Qing He Male College."

Also on the list are previously announced titles such as "Ferryman 2," "The Heroic Age," "Star Trek Beyond," "Real" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows."

The Chinese group is targeting to roll out "Peach Blossom," "Ferryman" and "Ao Jiao Yu Pian Jian" by 2017, Variety wrote.

Banking on its online dominance and a familiar brand to back it up, Alibaba Pictures has made partnerships with both well-established production houses and promising startup companies to fire up its filmmaking venture.

"The partners announced by Alibaba Pictures range from well-established movie production houses, up-and-coming companies with strong capabilities, to stars of tomorrow who possess tremendous potential," Deadline Hollywood wrote.

"The list includes HS Gala Pictures, Ruyi Films, Ningxia Film Group, Zhenjian Pictures, Filmko Pictures, Hehe Pictures, Cheng Xiang Films, Black Ant Flim, Straw Bear Film Production, Phoenix Legend Films and Sun Entertainment Culture, as well as Giant Interactive Group and Blue Lion from the Internet and cultural sectors," according to the entertainment website.
