Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 producer Masayuki Hirano hopes they could add content from "Dragon Ball Super" in the upcoming installment of the new Xenoverse version. Hirano revealed they are already considering the possibility to adapt content from the on-going anime series.

In his interview during the E3 2016, the game producer said though they are starting to look at including elements from "Dragon Ball Super," it is possible that this will be before the new Xenoverse is released, or after the game is launched since it takes a long time to create a character, Siliconera reported.

Hirano added that as of the moment they are planning to support the game with updates and a paid DLC which they hope the people will support once released.

For the upcoming game, there had been a few items that were confirmed by producers. An avatar customization system will be featured which would allow players to visit special or secret places of locations where their chosen race is coming from, Game Spot reported.

A larger hub city will also be included which is said to be seven times bigger than what the previous game featured. This will be able to support 300 players at the same time, and all will be able to fly. New characters like Turles and Future Gohan have been confirmed to be joining the cast as well.

Aside from these developments, a new transportation system will also be included where players will be able to speed around using a hovering machine. This means of transportation is still undetermined if it would be faster than flying.

Other improvement that may get the attention of fans is the better frame-rate and camera. Xenoverse 2 will be running in 60 fps which is double of the first version. Bandai Namco confirmed that they have utilized a dynamic camera which would be able to follow movements during combat.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC excluding the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game is already set for launching later this year. For a preview of its announcement trailer, watch the video clip below.
