"Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 episode 9 debuts June 19, Sunday. It is the penultimate segment titled "Battle of the Bastards" wherein House Stark and House Bolton fight the decisive war for Winterfell. In episode 8 "No One," Brienne came face to face with Jaime and Blackfish at Riverrun. She tries to get Blackfish to surrender but fails. Unfortunately, the Blackfish loses his life in the fight with the Lannisters. Sandor Clegane meets Ser Beric Dondarrion and Thoros of Myr. As for Arya, the Waif continues to chase her. Arya is saved by Lady Crane, who is later killed by the Waife. Towards the end, Arya manages to dodge the Waif and kills him.

Moving on to "Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 episode 9. "Battle of the Bastards" is a direct reference to one of the most epic wars of the series and it is expected to be one of the strongest episodes of the season. Meanwhile, the synopsis predicts a possibility of surrender. "Terms of surrender are rejected and accepted," reads the official synopsis.

Online publication Independent UK is speculating that Jon Snow might consider surrender in order to save lives on the battlefield. However, Team Stark is expected to win the war, though.

A promo video for "Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 teases the events of episode 9 "Battle of the Bastards." It gives a glimpse of the battlefield wherein the two houses stand strong with their armies. While Jon seems quite confident about winning the war, Sansa warns him not to underestimates Ramsay.

"Battles have been won against greater odds. I've fought beyond the wall against worse than Ramsay Bolton," Jon Snow tells Sansa in the trailer.

In the meantime, the network has released photos teasing the events of "Battle of the Bastards." The photos as published on Watchersonthewall are all about the much-awaited battle. It gives a glimpse of the major participants in the battlefield, Sansa, Jon, Davos, Tormund, Ramsay, Wun Wun, and Melisandre in her camp.

In addition, "Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 episode 9 details may have been leaked. According to a Reddit post, a person claiming to be an extra on the set has revealed what happens during the war. Fans are advised to take the information with a grain of salt.

According to the post, the armies meet outside the Winterfell and Bolton army is bigger than the Stark army. Ramsay let goes of Rickon and begins to shoot arrows. Before Rickon reaches Jon Snow, Ramsay hits Rickon.

Davos remains in action and asks the Stark army to follow their commander. The Stark army moves towards Bolton army. However, wildings lose control and follow Tormund and Wun Wun into the battle for a close combat. Ramsay's cavalry comes forward for a clash. At the same time, Boltons attack Stark army with arrows killing Stark cavalry and infantry. Starks lose many of their men making them vulnerable as Boltons continue to advance. They build a wall with the dead bodies to slower the Boltons army.

As the battle progresses, the Bolton army surrounds Stark army with tall shields and pikes. Chances of Stark army to win the battle are grim until The Knight of the Vale arrives. They are one of the best warriors of Westeros. Sansa and Petry take the lead and push the cavalry army to charge into the rear of the pike that helps them kill the Boltons and save the army.

As for Ramsay, he tries to escape to Winterfell. At the Winterfell, the Boltons close the doors but Wun Wun manages to break open the door and the remaining Stark army enters the Winterfell. Unfortunately, Wun Wun is killed by an arrow that cuts through his eye. Jon turns to Ramsay and beats him to death. The Starks conquer the North and Sansa and Jon reunite.
