It can be recalled that during the middle part of "Arrow" Season 4, Felicity uncovered the secret of Oliver regarding his son from another woman. Because of that, Felicity chose to end her relationship with Oliver. Reports said that the fans of the show hoped that the two would reconcile at the end of "Arrow" Season 5, but no reconciliation happened.

Now, recent rumors are saying that the Olicity (Oliver and Felicity) love team would come to a reunion in "Arrow" Season 5. However, it is also speculated that another character would enter that would further ruin the relationship of the two, Christian Times has learned.

According to the same publication, despite of the strong rumors about Oliver and Felicity reuniting, Amell did not confirm anything about it yet. The actor said that he has no idea of what "Arrow" Season 5 is going to show. He also said that he does not think that his character and Felicity would be together at the start of "Arrow" Season 5.

On the other hand, according to Screen Rant, "Arrow" Season 5 may go back to its roots in terms of its plot. It was said that the upcoming season would feature a lesser superpower storylines, which was said to be the strength of the series. The report also cited an entry of a new villain that has a connection to Oliver's Bratva Tattoo.

Amell said that the antagonist would have a link to the first season of "Arrow." The actor added that the villain is going to be different from the fantasy-based villains before, which might mean that no superpowers will be given to the latest antagonist.

Meanwhile, reports are loud that "Arrow" Season 5 is going to air on Oct. 5, 2016.
