Nick Cannon raps about his real-life drama, touching on emotional topics through his new freestyle, "Divorce Papers." He released the freestyle on June 16, Thursday, which narrates how his split with singer Mariah Carey affected him and his twins, Monroe and Moroccan.

"What happened to the rings, did she fling them out?," the raps go. " ... We're single now, but we really need to think about is how a child deals/ how a child feels."

The 35-year-old host expressed his vulnerability being away from his 5-year-old twins. His rap narrates that his daughter sometimes asks him why he is crying.

The rap says Cannon hates to think his family is having fun without him and wonders if his son will doubt him. He does not care about love, but just wants his kids to be safe. Speaking about his ex, all he had were compliments, and wished her happiness.

The rap goes that Cannon cannot see his children because the government "sucks." He is upset that the time spent with his kids is called "visitation." His ex did not understand what he is talking about because she never denied him access to their children, Carey's sources told TMZ.

The freestyle also mentions Eminem with whom Cannon had been feuding since 2009, seemingly wanting to end their feud. The rapper from Missouri hinted he and Carey had a relationship, which the latter denied.

The "America's Got Talent" host challenged Eminem to a rap battle earlier this month but did not get a response. The rap said Cannon is a fan of the multi-awarded rapper and that he can relate to his pain and drug habits "when you don't know where your baby momma been."

"Divorce Papers" is not to feed the tabloid, but to express the writer's frustrations to the naysayers, to himself and to the voices in his head. Cannon admitted he was weighing at first whether to release it or not.

Cannon filed for divorce in December 2014 from Carey. The latter is now in Las Vegas for her "#1 to Infinity" where she talked about her upcoming wedding with Australian billionaire James Packer this year, Entertainment Tonight reported.
