OnePlus 3 smartphone boasts a 3,000 mAh battery, while the Nexus 5X has a 2,700 mAh battery.
Google Nexus 5X has 2 GB of RAM and a 16 GB of internal storage. OnePlus 3 has 64 GB of internal storage and 6 GB of RAM.
Both Nexus 5X and OnePlus 3 run Android Marshmallow. The Nexus 5X is powered by Snapdragon 808 processor and the OnePlus device is powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset.
The Google Nexus 5X smartphone weighs 4.8 ounces or 136 grams, whereas the OnePlus 3 smartphone weighs 5.6 ounces or 158 grams.
The Nexus 5X smartphone has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video conference and selfie and a 12-megapixel main shooter. The OnePlus device, on the other hand, has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter and a 16-megapixel main camera.
The Google Nexus 5X costs about $379 and the OnePlus 3 smartphone costs around $399.
Buyers who want to have a smartphone that has a better long-term software support and is lightweight should choose LG Nexus 5X. Buyers who want a smartphone with greater camera, more RAM and internal storage and a larger battery should choose OnePlus 3.
Meanwhile, Google Nexus 5X has received a big discount. The retailer eBay is selling 32GB Nexus 5X for only $269.99 ($130 discount).
