"Final Fantasy 7' remake" will feature new game details during the "Kingdom Hearts" concert tour and will it draw inspiration from "Final Fantasy XIII".
Game director Tetsuya Nomura teased a big reveal for "Final Fantasy 7" remake starting this year as he told Famitsu (via KHInsider) that new gameplay details for the "FFVII" remake will announced during the "Kingdom Hearts" concert tour on August along with a "Dissidia: Final Fantasy" game tournament next year. Nomura is hoping that Square Enix will give him a chance to reveal everything in one event instead of a "dribs and drabs" update.
Square Enix showed several of their upcoming video game titles such "Final Fantasy XV", "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8", "NieR" and many more. Sadly, there was no appearance of "Final Fantasy 7" remake nor a gameplay demo or trailer of it, which left fans a bit disappointed.
However, Nomura did explained that "Final Fantasy 7" remake is still in the early development stages and stated that it will quite awhile before the game to be complete. Nomura added that he and Square Enix will personally the followinh update about the game very soon.
Now that Square Enix has been working "Final Fantasy 7" remake in its early stages, it will not be long for Square Enix to announce episode 1 of the remake soon since the game is divided into multiple parts showing several enhanced scenes from the original "Final Fantasy VII" in the PlayStation console.
In other news, Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase stated that "Final Fantasy 7" remake development wll likely model it to "Final Fantasy XIII" as he told Gameinformer that when the project was announced, many people were confused by the multi-part nature, but the goal was to structure it more like "FFXIII", where in it had three titles.
Square Enix explained that the remake itself is a full scale game for each part of the multi-part plan as "Final Fantasy XIII" each told a story with different angles and exploring new territories for story telling unlike the original "Final Fantasy VII" were there is already a preexisting story, which will not make any sense when it is divided in several parts. In doing son, they are looking for parts which in scale par with one in "Final Fantasy XIII".
For now, Square Enix is currently developing other game titles such as "Final Fantasy XV", "World of Final Fantasy", Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" and "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8".
"Final Fantasy 7" remake is speculated to launch sometime in 2017 for the PlayStation 4 as it marks the 20th Anniversary of the game.
