Arguably, Microsoft fans were ecstatic upon the confirmation of Xbox One/Windows 10 video games. However, according to an Xbox executive, the E3 showcase is just a small taste of what the Xbox/Windows tie up has in store for its enthusiasts.

Before the E3 2016, rumors surrounding Xbox games debuting on Windows 10 PCs have been floating around online. According to PC World, Microsoft is gearing up to bring the entire Xbox One user interface to Windows 10 PCs. The news publication remains unsure on whether the integration would result to an Xbox One app inside Windows 10. Alternately, Microsoft may release an Xbox edition of the Windows 10 for PCs.

Nevertheless, Xbox head of first party publishing, Shannon Loftis, has already spoken up about both the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms. During E3's YouTube stream, Loftis revealed that the four announced Xbox One/Windows 10 games - "Killer Instinct," "Scalebound," "State of Decay 2" and "ReCore" - is just part of the fourteen Xbox One/Microsoft games currently in development.

"I head first party game publishing for Xbox One or Windows 10 or any of our platforms. 'We right now have, i think, 14 games in development. We talked about four of those this morning - Killer Instinct, Scalebound, State of Decay 2, and ReCore. We also have Crackdown 3, which we announced has now been moved into 2017, and there are a few other ones that aren't quite ready to be talked about yet," Attack of the Fanboy quoted Loftis as saying.

No one from Microsoft has definitively announced when the upcoming games would be available for purchase. However, it is expected that the Xbox One/Windows 10 games would be available by fall of next year. The availability of the games should be in line with the release of Microsoft's new console - the Xbox One Project Scorpio.
