The Android Marshmallow update is currently rolling out for Samsung Galaxy J7 and Galaxy A3(2016). Currently, the update is only available for the Russian users.

The Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 update is being rolled out in phases for all the users, according to GSM Arena. It will eventually reach all the Russian users in the next fortnight.

Users can check their devices to see if they are prompted to download the latest Android Marshmallow update or not. To do so, they need to go to Settings> About Device> Check for Software Update.

In case the users are prompted to download the Android Marshmallow update, they should connect their device to an unmetered and stable Wi-Fi connection while attempting to download the update. The update weighs around 1.04 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy device should have its battery levels more than 50 percent during the download process else it should be connected to a power source for an uninterrupted download experience. In case the device loses power during the download process then it may also lose the local data and brick the smartphone.

The Android Marshmallow update will also start rolling out in other countries soon for Samsung Galaxy J7 and Galaxy A3 (2016). Holland, Africa, Germany, Italy, India, the United States of America, France, Turkey and Canada are expected to be next in line to receive the update.

Meanwhile, the Android Marshmallow update is also rolling out for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and Tab 9.7. Currently, the update is available is only for the Australian users and will commence to a global rollout in the next two weeks.

Google Now advanced function is also included in the system after the Android Marshmallow upgrade. It gives the users a shortcut to use Google's features, according to BGR.

Another highly popular feature of the Android Marshmallow operating system is the Doze feature. This feature increases the battery life of the phone as it puts the phone in a deep slumber during longer periods of phone's inactivity.
