BioWare has decided to abandon the choices made by players during "Mass Effect 3," which means it will not affect the "Mass Effect Andromeda" story. There will be no inhabitants in the new game's Milky Way galaxy that will be affected by the choices of the players in the previous game.

The upcoming video game of BioWare has been in development for a while now, according to Eurogamer, and recently it was teased again during EA's E3 press conference. Studio head Aaryon Flynn, and creative director Mac Walters confirmed during an interview with the publication that this sequel will not be affected by the decision of the players on the prequel. They wanted to make sure that the new game works as a new chapter for the popular franchise.

One of the trilogy's endings was that all inhabitants in the galaxy were fused with machines, but in this video game, they will still be the same. Flynn even joked that there will be no green skinned people in this game, but they also assured that the lore of the game will not be lost completely. Walters explained that they want the game to have elements from the past Trilogy, but at the same time they want the new game to have a new, fresh story.

Walters also mentioned that there will be a coalition of races from the Milky Way. They wanted to make sure that there will be certain species that players are familiar with, and these beings will come with them on a journey to meet other ones on an unknown section of the universe. He also added that there will be beings that will work together happily with the protagonist in the game, but there will be other people who will work with the hero, but they will not be happy with it.

According to Gamespot, the game will be released sometime in early 2017. It will be launched on the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. In an interview with the publication, the development team is confident that they will be able to make it by the deadline.
