"Person of Interest" Season 6: Is it coming?

The show has no current plans to continue and fans will not see "Person of Interest" Season 6 as of now. However, actor Michael Emerson, who plays Harold Finch, talked to Cinema Blend about playing Finch again if "Person of Interest" returns. However, there should be some changes, the actor suggested.

"If they said to me, 'We want Person of Interest to keep going but we're only going to do 10 or 12 [episodes],' I'd say, 'Sign me up.' But I can't do 22 again. I think people always expect me to be broken up about things coming to an end, but we were so tired in December, I couldn't even have imagined coming back after the new year and shooting more," Emerson said.

Meanwhile, "Person of Interest" Season 5, episode 13 will witness bloodbath and mayhem as Ice-9 virus not only take down Samaritan but also affect the Machine.

Creator Jonathan Nolan and executive producer Greg Plageman talked to Entertainment Weekly about the finale of the show.

Nolan warned that fans would be angry with them again as the "heroes will not make it out of this one intact." He added that the ending will be bittersweet.

When asked if there would be any cliffhangers in "Person of Interest" series finale, Plageman stated that they are "closing the finale chapter on this tale, in a very satisfying way."

"[There are] no cliffhangers this year, no uncertainty. In the world that we created, the story continues in a sense, but there's nothing that's left ambiguous for the audience. We didn't think that would be fair," Nolan said.

During the interview, Nolan is satisfied and proud of the episodes.

"I'm very satisfied and proud of these episodes in this season, and we ended the show the way we always conceived of ending the show," the creator said.

"Person of Interest" series finale airs June 21 on CBS.
