Park Yoo Chun is embroiled in four rape cases and in response to the complaints filed by different women, he also went to the court to file countersuits on June 20. In particular, the singer/actor sued the first woman named Lee with false claims on top of the blackmailing charge.

Lee was the first person who accused Park of sexual assault. She alleged that "The Girl Who Sees Smell" actor raped her in the bathroom of an adult establishment where she works. Her boyfriend reported the incident to the police and subsequently filed a case, six days after the incident.

However, Lee retracted her story and withdrew the case just five days from the filing date. Park's side then made their move to file a countersuit, suing Lee for blackmail and false statements which severely damaged his clean-cut image. The singer's legal team from Shin & Kim law firm office submitted the complaint documents to Gangnam Police Station on June 20, Xports News has learned.

Park's legal counsels are also contemplating if they would file similar complaints against the three other women who also charged Park with rape. When the first sexual assault case was reported, Park tried to disprove the allegation by stating that he would leave the entertainment industry forever if he would be found guilty.

The investigators have yet to further question Park and Lee, the first complainant. They will be summoned along with other people, including the nightclub owner, who were also present at the time of the alleged sexual assault.

Moreover, the police may expand their investigation and warned that even if all four women involved decided to drop the charges, it is still possible that they could still charge the singer for prostitution and illegal confinement. The confinement offense came up after one of the plaintiffs claimed that Park locked and restrained her from leaving the bathroom during the attack.

Meanwhile, the authorities assigned more investigators to handle the JYJ member's case. The police found it necessary to add six more investigators, bringing the total number to 12, because the scandal got bigger and drew so much attention from the public, Yonhap News Agency reported.
