"Game of Thrones" Season 6 has been lively with resurrected heroes, dead babies, time-travelling storylines, and the extraordinary Westeros standards. With the show having largely left behind George R.R. Martin's novels, there is a clear indication that "GoT" will venture into uncharted boundaries. While episode 9, "Battle of the Bastards," is the most shocking and epic in the series, fans should be prepared for a treat in "The Winds of Winter."

Jon Snow has resurfaced in the North as an irritable messiah, and he will eventually face off the villainous Ramsay Bolton in a deadly struggle to reclaim Winterfell for the Starks, according to Telegraph UK. On the other hand, Daenerys is prepared to have the Iron Throne across the Narrow Sea. Similarly, harmless Bran is now the enigma who holds the answers to the great mysteries that have been central to "GoT."

Fans are coming to terms with "Game of Thrones" action-packed "Battle of the Bastards," which is the bloodiest and most dramatic episode. However, as they recollect themselves, Season 6 episode 10 is fast approaching. If the promo is to be believed, "The Winds of Winter" will turn out a much more somber saga.

There are many loose ends to bring together before Season 6 wraps up, according to the same publication. Fans are left yearning for more episodes for another year.

In episode 10, the Freys will make a home in Riverrun with a broken Edmure Tully relinquishing his family seat to Jaime Lannister's cordon army and the dead of the Blackfish. A weak Walder Frey can be seen toasting the union, arrogantly saying: "the Freys and the Lannisters send their regards."

The words portray a very conceited twist on Roose Bolton during the Red Wedding since he slaughtered Robb Stark and his followers. Apparently, the Freys did not dislodge the Blackfish, but it was Jaime Lannister. In any case, the Freys made a mistake by losing possession of Riverrun in the first place.

There is much more to expect in Season 6 finale. Watch the footage below for further details:
