Microsoft has been an highly-acclaimed company delivering high-end technology on the market for many years; however, in the company's new attempts to compete on the field of hand-held devices, Microsoft has been purposefully lagging the release of its upcoming Surface Phone. In order to improve Surface Phone's functionality and complex system, the company is putting up three variants of the smartphone.

According to MNR Daily, the base model of the upcoming Surface Phone will be equipped with 4GB of random access memory (RAM) and will cater 64GB of internal memory configuration. The advanced version is likely to sport a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. More so, the Pro version will boost a mobile speed through its 8GB RAM and a staggering 512GB of internal storage. Through these breakthroughs, the Surface Phone is said to possess the powers of a PC.

The upcoming device has long been rumored to be in development phase under the code name "Juggernaut Alpha." Although the company has been keeping the device behind curtains, speculations and rumors said that Surface Phone's system will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 as its processor.

For years, Microsoft has been trying to penetrate the market with their own brand of smartphones through its latest stint of buying Nokia's Lumia, which introduced Microsoft Lumia to the world. Nonetheless, as the company tries to take their mistakes into the improvement of their strategies and devices, a new focus will be directed to the market in support of Surface Phone's birth.

This innovation was previously mentioned in an email by the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, to their employees; "We plan to narrow our focus to three customer segments where we can make unique contributions and where we can differentiate through the combination of our hardware and software. We'll bring business customers the best management, security and productivity experiences they need; value phone buyers the communications services they want; and Windows fans the flagship devices they'll love."

Based on some reports, the price for Surface Phone's variants will range from $400 to $700 and its release date is rumored to be in March 2017.
